22 DISCOVERING SANTA FE
Perhaps what sets Santa Fe apart is its earthy
elegance, a celebration of its bold landscape,
rich history, multi-cultural influences, and dra-
matic style.
104 EATING SANTA FE
New Mexican cuisine is a delicious culinary
melting pot spiced by the majestic chile.
Throughout its history, the people who live
here spurred the culinary adaptations blended
into this regional cuisine. Native Americans,
Spanish conquerors, and European settlers all
added to the mix.

EXTRAFJORDINARY NORWAY
Kim Kardashian last strolled a beach in a bikini.
There are strategically deployed elbows, selfie
sticks raised like periscopes, and, amid the snap-
ping array of pocket-sized smart phones, a few
photographers wielding lenses powerful enough
to count Ms. Kardashian’s porcelain pores, never
mind capturing any cellulite she may (or---legal
disclaimer—may not) have.
